If you are enrolled in school (elementary through college levels), you can receive student tickets to most Utah Symphony | Utah Opera performances. For our 2010-11 season, student tickets are $6 for Lollipops performances, $8 for Family performances, and $10 for Masterworks, Utah Opera, and Entertainment performances. Please be prepared to show your student I.D. when you hand your ticket to the usher.
There are limited student tickets set aside for performances, so please buy in advance to ensure you'll have tickets to the performances you'd like to attend. Student tickets to some "blackout performances" can only be purchased by Student Design-A-Series Subscribers (see below).
Grade 4-12 students receive 1 free ticket each season. Free student vouchers are limited may not be available for every performance. Learn more at the Symphony For Students website.How to buyAbravanel Hall Ticket Office

Please note: Masterworks and Pops concerts have a minimum age of 8 years old. Family performances are recommended for ages 6 and up. L ollipops concerts are recommended for all ages. All children must have a ticket, but Lollipops tickets for children 3 and under are free.

2010-11 season blackout performances
Student
tickets are not available for the following performances unless you
purchase a Student Design-A-Series package. Restrictions apply. Limited
student Design-A-Series tickets are available for each blackout
performance.
- October 16 - 24, 2010: La Bohème
- September 24-25, 2010: Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto Student Design-A-Series Tickets sold out.
- February 18-19, 2011: Bravo Broadway: the Wicked Divas!
No student tickets are available to Utah Symphony | Utah Opera Special Events ( Blue Planet Live!, Messiah Sing-in, and Riders in the Sky).
