Mighty 5 Tour

August 11 through 17

Only in Utah

This August 2014, join the Utah Symphony as it embarks upon a tour of mighty proportions to Utah’s red rock country, home to the state’s five iconic national parks – Capitol Reef, Arches, Canyonlands, Bryce Canyon and Zion – known collectively as “The Mighty 5®”.

Four free concerts featuring the full symphony orchestra will take place in outdoor venues throughout the communities of southern Utah against the natural backdrop of arches, spires and canyons that define The Mighty 5, and brilliant red rocks set afire by the setting summer sun. Music Director Thierry Fischer will lead the Utah Symphony and guest vocalist Celena Shafer in symphonic works that complement the beauty of the surrounding southern Utah landscape.
