Audience-favorite Pablo Sáinz Villegas is back to perform Rodrigo’s Fantasía para un gentilhombre, written for the legendary guitarist Andrés Segovia.
The second of Composer-in-Association Arlene Sierra’s U.S. premieres takes a deep look into “the mechanics and processes of nature.”
Composed “in that rush of spring that carries a man away even in his old age”, Schumann’s symphony captures the longing for rebirth we all feel in winter.
The U.S. premiere of Arlene Sierra’s Nature Symphony is supported in part by the National Endowment for the Arts.To find out more about how National Endowment for the Arts grants impact individuals and communities, visit www.arts.gov.
