OVERVIEW

Each year, high school students are invited to take part in a unique musical experience – performing onstage at Abravanel Hall alongside the Utah Symphony.

As part of this special side-by-side program, students rehearse with Assistant Conductor Jessica Rivero Altarriba, Creative Partner David Robertson, and Music Director Designate Markus Poschner, as well as receiving focused sectional coaching from Utah Symphony musicians. After six rehearsals, they’ll join their mentors for an inspiring final performance conducted by Markus Poschner.
