OVERVIEW

Experience Utah Symphony | Utah Opera in St. George! The full Utah Symphony orchestra joins all four Utah Opera Resident Artists for an unforgettable mix of symphony and opera, bringing the magic of live music right to your backyard. New Assistant Conductor Kyle Dickson takes the baton for this special performance.

From fairy-tale wonder to full-blown comedic chaos, this program never sits still. Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte overture opens with mischief and momentum, before Humperdinck’s Hansel und Gretel turns tender. Sondheim’s “Agony” spins heartbreak into comedy, and Mascagni’s Intermezzo—lush, aching, unforgettable—brings a moment of stillness before Offenbach barrels back in, building toward a Can-Can that audiences feel coming a mile away and still can’t resist.

Then the night takes a heroic turn: Beethoven’s Egmont Overture, a lively Mozart symphony, and Rossini’s William Tell—bold, thrilling, and electric.
