OVERVIEW

The Utah Symphony’s Summer Community Concerts continue with associate conductor Benjamin Manis leading a program filled with music from Latin America’s great symphonic composers including Moncayo’s Huapango, Ginastera’s Dances from Estancia, and Márquez’ Danzón No. 2. Also, hear the Utah Symphony perform Carlos Simon’s Tales: A folklore symphony, which explores African American folklore as well as Afrofuturists stories.

This performance is offered for free to thank the community for its support of Salt Lake County’s Zoo, Arts, and Parks Program.
