Erin David

Violinist Erin David joined the Utah Symphony in March 2022. A native of Miami, Florida, she began her violin studies at New World School of the Arts. She attended Lynn University and Carnegie Mellon University, studying with Elmar Oliveira and Andres Cárdenes. She has held positions with the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra, The Florida Orchestra, and the Eastern Music Festival Orchestra. She spends her free time hiking with her dog Dmitri and eating good food. She performs on a 1930 violin by Paolo di Barbieri.
