Jennifer Kozbial Posadas

Jennifer Kozbial Posadas is originally from London, Ontario, Canada and has been a member of the Naples Philharmonic since 2007. Jennifer has also performed with the Houston Symphony, National Arts Centre orchestra and Chautauqua Symphony orchestra, among others.

A prizewinner in many competitions, Jennifer received a first place in the Canadian Music Competition and awards at the Corpus Christi Young Artists Competition, American String Teachers Association and the WAMSO Young Artist Competition. Jennifer was awarded the Silver Medal for outstanding achievement from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Canada and was a finalist in the Canada Council for the Arts Instrument Bank Competition, which featured some of the finest young Canadian musicians.

Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music and a Master of Music degree from the New England Conservatory in Boston, both with academic honors. Equally at home on the chamber music stage, she has enjoyed collaborations with James Ehnes, Andres Diaz, Orion Weiss and members of the Cleveland Quartet. Jennifer has been a member of the Grammy Award-winning Santa Fe Opera orchestra since 2014 and enjoys spending summers in New Mexico. Jennifer is married to violist John T. Posadas and they have twin daughters.
