Mas Podgorny

Mas Podgorny will be serving as an acting section bassist for the Utah Symphony’s 2024-25 season. Primarily an orchestral musician, Mas has performed with the Gothenburg, Houston, and Seattle symphonies, among others. His primary teachers include Jordan Anderson, Ira Gold, and Paul Ellison. Mas plays on a bass made in 2019 by Daniel Hachez of Wenatchee, WA. In his free time, you can find Mas outside hiking, camping, or rock climbing – preferably in the company of his wife, two sons, and dog.
