American Heritage Lyceum Orchestras

The Lyceum Orchestra Program consists of five audition-only ensembles starting with students as young as five going through to the most advanced high-school-aged musicians. Students perform masterworks of the repertory alongside sacred music.

Cache Youth Orchestras provides a nurturing environment where music students develop discipline and artistry through the study and performance of a wide range of core repertoire. The Crescendo Orchestra gives young musicians an opportunity to excel musically alongside students of like ability in a fun learning environment. The Philharmonic Orchestra (strings, woodwinds, brass and percussion) provides advanced students the opportunity to perform the masterworks of the full orchestra literature. CYO also provides students the opportunity to go on tour within Utah, within the US, and Internationally.

It is a strings-only, audition-only, training orchestra for the strings section in Northern Utah Youth Symphony, and a project of the Lake Bonneville Symphonic Society.

The Ogden Youth Symphony is an extension of the Weber State University String Project and was created to provide an opportunity for pre-college musicians. This audition only ensemble is open to high school level string players as well as winds, brass and percussion in order to provide a full Symphony Orchestra experience for students.

As part of the Young Artist Chamber Players program, our three younger orchestras provide a welcoming environment for string players of all ability levels to learn and perform chamber music.
