Dvořák’s Symphony No. 5 (in Ogden)
Browning Center at WSU
1901 University Circle Ogden, Utah Get Directions

OVERVIEW

Revel in Dvořák’s light and bright Symphony No. 5, from its flowing introduction by the clarinets to its Bohemian dances to its rousing finale. This rarely performed work is paired with a perennial favorite—the lush and luxurious Bruch Violin Concerto No. 1 featuring Randall Goosby, praised for the intensity and sensitivity of his musicianship. The evening is set in motion with a spin on a merry-go-round as Ana Sokolović’s Ringelspiel takes us back to memories of simpler childhood times.

This concert also takes place at Maurice Abravanel Hall in Salt Lake City Mach 3-4, 2023. View details >>
