OVERVIEW

International superstar Joshua Bell joins the Utah Symphony for Beethoven’s Violin Concerto in a gala performance that celebrates the 80th anniversary of our first concert.

  • Hear two selections chosen from the Utah Symphony’s inaugural 1940 concert: Johann Strauss, Jr.’s majestic Emperor Waltzes and the beautifully flowing “Moldau” from Smetana’s Má Vlast.
  • Experience Beethoven’s delicate and virtuosic Violin Concerto performed by Joshua Bell, one of the most celebrated violinists of this generation.
