Stand in awe of Bruckner’s final symphony, the last of his incredible collection of sonic cathedrals that he dedicated “to the beloved God”

Like Mahler after and Beethoven before, Bruckner was “cursed” by the number 9 and would not live to compose a tenth symphony. The final movement of his Symphony No. 9 was left unfinished at his death.
Rounding out the program is Bach’s only concerto for violin duo, a work that dazzles with unique textures and a mesmerizing interplay between the soloists.

Estimated concert length: 2 hours (including a 20 minute intermission)
